By the way, it seems that the proposed merger between Hennepin County Library and Minneapolis Public Library has hit a little snag over salaries. As a Minneapolis resident, I'm crossing my fingers that it goes through, in hopes that Minneapolis libraries will eventually be able to stay open more hours, once they are more financially stable. Such a crying shame to have such wonderful libraries and to not have them open more than 40 hours per week.
